I never thought to, until LNGH. If anyone wants to get rid of them, I'm sure we can make some kind of a deal. You see, I really am a fan[atic]! _________________________________________________________________ From: "James Tracey" (J.Tracey@btinternet.com) Subject: OVORToo Assistance please. I've lost the track listing of OVORToo. Are there any details on a release date? Someone also recently mentioned Nanci's version of "If I had a hammer" from the Pete Seeger tribute album. Title of the album, please? Thanks in advance. James. _________________________________________________________________ From: graham.brown.01@bbc.co.uk (Graham Brown-PRESSTC) Subject: Other Voices Other Rooms II Greetings to you all from London. James Tracey asked for the title of the Pete Seeger tribute - it's called "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2 recently played a great track from it - "The Water is Wide" performed by John Gorka. A track listing for OVOR II is attached - it's from a Blake Marshall e-mail which I found in my files. At the time Blake wrote, the expected release date was summer 1998. Regards, Graham Brown PS: Melissa - you are not forgotten! Life has rather overtaken me recently but expect a package shortly. ---------- From: Blake Marshall[SMTP:bmarshall@worldnet.att.net] Sent: 29 September 1997 22:14 To: NanciNet; Beth Herron Subject: NN: Re: OVOR II I can help with that! If you want a copy but have been putting off = ordering one, I wouldn't wait much longer. Many thanks to Earl and others who offered to help me get the tape. I = was close to taking you up on the offer, but patience paid off. We've = got a pretty good group of people here. A couple of folks responded that "If Wishes Were Changes" is in the Late Night Grande Hotel song book. Seems odd, since the tune is from the Storms LP. In any case, I don't (obviously) have the book. If anyone does run across a version on line they can send me, I'd appreciate the help. The Davey Jones page is a treasure chest. It included several songs from Storms and other lp's. You can order it through any sheet music store. I've seen a video recording made from a TV programme (I think it was a charity concert) in which Nanci sings a super song - don't know the title, but would guess it had someting to do with "If these old walls could speak". I thought that I'd got all her albums, but I haven't come across this song anywhere else - nor have I heard her perform it live. Does anyone know if it's on a CD - or if anyone else has recorded it?
