Hey, folks,

I hear from the folks at Gold Mountain that things are gearing up for the
release of Nanci's new CD (YAY!!). Among the plans will be a revamp of the
website, to make it faster and more user friendly. Expect contests,
downloadable items, and more.

There is thought being given to having a message board on the site...another
way for NanciNuts to communicate.

By the way, the Ovation network (check your cable or satellite provider) is
carrying the OVOR2 video. The show will air (all times Eastern):

          Thursday, June 28, 2001 - 9:00 AM
          Friday, June 29, 2001 - 6:00 PM
          Saturday, June 30, 2001 - 4:00 PM

Also, the same network will carry the Transatlantic Sessions episode that
(according to their site) features Nanci on the following days:

          Saturday, June 09, 2001 - 11:00:00 PM
          Sunday, June 10, 2001 - 3:00:00 AM

I read an interesting article today about Lucinda's new CD Essence in GQ.  (I
was at the dentist, really!)  I forget the guys name who wrote it, but he is
someone very familiar with the folk scene.  As I recall, he is the same guy
that wrote a piece for GQ about Nick Drake about a year ago.  (That time it was
the barber shop.)
