Hi NNetters,

(Bill said it was okay if I posted this item.)

One of the usenet groups I frequent is
rec.music.makers.guitar.acoustic
A year-long project has just been finished in which
the members recorded their music for publication in
a six disk set. Then the set is sold for $15.00 to
recover the cost of "cover" authority, media, postage,
etc. Most of these guys and girls are very talented.

If you'd like to pre-order a set, go to
(http://tinylink.com/?i5nd9cSrYL>
for all the necesary info. The $15.00 covers the whole
set plus S&H. (Orders outside the U.S. might require
extra postage costs.)

We planned on selling 500 copies, but so far only 400
have been ordered. The other 100 copies need to be
sold to recover costs, so I asked Bill if it was okay
to post the info here. (Waddawegot? Maybe a thousand
members who like guitar music?)

Hi there, since its been a bit slow here, I thought I'd share this.
Its about Tracy's first big tour in this new incarnation of her
career. I know some people here were interested in what happened
last summer after her partner Dave Carter died suddenly.... I just
saw her sold-out Portland and Missoula shows and they were amazing,
quite transcendent experiences. She's really embracing her new
front-person role (and does have a side-guy for this tour, Donny
Wright on upright bass and guitar). She could certainly still use
lots of support (though I'd have to say you are really doing yourself
a huge favor by going to see her, no martyrdom required). You might
end up seeing Joan Baez or Richard Shindell, too.....

Hi

Can anyone tell me how I can get a VHS copy of One Fair Summer Evening?
Though a Brit, I can play NTSC US VHS tapes. Neither Amazon nor cdworld
have this. Probably too old for them.

Would appreciate any help - keith.farman@ntlworld.com

Thanks

If people are having a hard time finding VHS copies of either One Fair
Summer Evening, or Other Voices, Other Rooms, I have each of them on
Laserdisc, and can therefore make very good stereo copies of them, directly
onto VHS (NTSC) from the Laserdisc.

If anyone is interested in obtaining a copy this way then let me know via
private email and I'll look into getting some blank tapes so I can let you
know how much it would be to cover the tape and the postage.

Where can I get a video player that plays both American and European
standard?
I just returned from Europe where I buried my beloved father. I filmed a lot
over there and would like to make copies for my family in Germany.

Incidentally, I think I owe someone a holiday tape from the tape exchange.
Since my father fell ill, these past few months have been a bit disorganized
and I totally misplaced the person's name...could you raise your hand please
and bear with me? I'm slowly catching up to life again.

Thanks,
